Two HHCJ Sisters Share 13 Years of Religious Life Journey

Two Sisters of the Congregation of the Handmaids of the Holy Child Jesus (HHCJ), Ghana Province who were among other Sisters who have marked their 13 years anniversary of first Religious profession of vows have shared their experiences in the Ministry.

The two, Sr. Belinda Bawa, HHCJ and Sr. Faustina Yetana, HHCJ marked their anniversaries on August 22, 2024 at Nsoatre-Sunyani, Ghana.

Every 22nd August marks the feast of the Queenship of Mary and according to the Sisters, they are following in the footsteps of Mary the Universal Queen.

Sharing her experience in an interview, Sr. Yetana said “the journey has been wow, I have never regretted being a Handmaid.”

On her part Sr. Bawa said she would always choose Religious Life if she were given the chance again. According to her,  “it is true that there are times the journey not smooth, there have been challenges, confusion and uncertainties about the call but God’s grace has been very much enough for me.”

The two celebrants jointly expressed their gratitude to all who had supported them in their journey of Religious Life and prayed that God would continue to sustain them till the end.
