Pupils and staff at New Horizon Special School are in full preparation mode as rehearsals intensify for this year’s Christmas concert. The event, scheduled for Wednesday, December 17, 2025, at 6:00 pm, will feature a mix of choreography, singing, drama, and festive presentations aimed at showcasing students’ talents and celebrating the season.
Throughout the week, different grade levels have been rotating through practice sessions. Music teachers have been leading choruses in traditional carols, while the dance team has been refining coordinated choreography for the opening and closing numbers. Some of the special needs students are also polishing a short Christmas skit that highlights themes of kindness, gratitude, and togetherness.
A special highlight of this year’s program will be the performance of “The Twelve Days of Christmas” by the school’s special needs students. Teachers working with the group say the students have shown “enthusiasm and determination” in learning their lines and actions, making the segment one of the most anticipated moments of the evening.
In addition to stage performances, students will participate in a segment dedicated to sharing Christmas greetings. These short messages aim to spread warmth and goodwill to families attending the concert.
The Christmas concert is expected to draw parents, guardians, and community members for a celebration of talent, teamwork, and holiday spirit.
