The Most Rev. John Bonaventure Kwofie, CSSp, Archbishop of Accra, inaugurated an office complex at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church, Tema Community 1, on Sunday, December 14, 2025, after a Eucharistic celebration held at the church premises.
He blessed the facility and officially opened it for use. The new office complex is expected to support the administrative work of the church and improve coordination of pastoral and parish activities. Church officials indicated that the project forms part of ongoing efforts to strengthen structures that support effective ministry and service to parishioners.
In his address, Archbishop Kwofie commended the Parish Priest, parishioners, and benefactors for their dedication and sacrifices toward the completion of the project. He encouraged the faithful to ensure the facility is well-maintained and used in the spirit of service, transparency, and stewardship.
The event was attended by clergy, church leaders, parishioners, and guests.
The completion of the office complex marks a significant milestone in the development of Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church and its mission of serving the spiritual and administrative needs of the parish community.
