In response to a formal request from the school’s management to the Accra East Grand Commandery, the Divine Mercy Commandery #1009 and Ladies’ Auxiliary #866 officially handed over an industrial multifunction printer to the school management in a brief ceremony.

In the request, Mr. Joseph Kwadzo Abusah, the Headmaster of OLAM SHS, highlighted the school’s challenges with limited printing capacity, which causes delays in producing lesson notes, worksheets, mock examination papers, internal assessments, revision materials, and administrative documents, as well as the high cost of outsourcing printing, especially during examination periods.

Present at the donation were the school’s leadership, including Mr. Joseph Kwadzo Abusah, Headmaster of OLAM SHS, Madam Mavis Otoo, Asst. Head, Administration , Madam Lydia Okang Ntow, Asst. Head, Academic, Madam Mercy Amoo-Mensah, Asst. Head, Domestic, Madam Sharon Fiagbedzi, Administrator and Madam Fidelia Etornam Agbemasu, Accountant.

Representatives of the KSJI fraternity also in attendance included Col. Robert Dela Mawuenyegah, Grand Secretary, Accra East Grand Commandery, Sir Knight Isaac Kwame Acheampong, Recording & Corresponding Secretary, Sir Knight James Adjaben and Sis. Georgina Boateng, 1st Vice President of the Ladies’ Auxiliary.

The industrial-grade copier-printer is capable of printing more than 55 copies per minute, supports colour printing, scanning, copying, and accepts documents via pen drive, making it suitable for efficient academic and administrative work.

Col. Mawuenyegah, while speaking during the donation noted that the printer was donated to directly serve the school’s academic needs and assured the school that a technician would be on standby to provide initial setup and ongoing support if any operational challenges arise.

School authorities expressed gratitude to the Divine Mercy Commandery #1009 and Ladies’ Auxiliary #866 of Knights of St. John International for the timely intervention and assured that the printer will be used for its purpose.
