The 1st Battalion Commandery and District 2 Auxiliary of the Koforidua-Ho Grand has made a charitable visitation to the “In My Father’s House” Orphanage Home at Abor in the Catholic Diocese of Keta-Akatsi.
The visit on May 22 was to make a donation to the less privilege children as virtues demands and exemplified on members of the Knights of St. John International and Ladies Auxiliary to practice faith, hope and charity.
Among items donated were bags of rice, cooking oil, packs of hand sanitizer and toiletries. These items were donated to help with the care management of the children under the management and care of the centre.
The head of delegation for the 1st Battalion Commandery is the Battalion Commander, Major Seth Harrison Wotordzor and for the District 2 Auxiliary , Noble Sister Beatrice Senoo.
The administrator of the orphanage, received the items cheerfully and was grateful on behalf of the orphanage for the kind donation.
The 1st Battalion Commandery and District 2 Auxiliary of the Knights of St. John International and Ladies Auxiliary over the years adopted the orphanage home and does an annual visit and donations for the support and management of the orphanage.
In My Father’s House (IMFH) is a home for the needy and less privileged children.
The centre was established in the year 2000 and is located at Abor in the Volta Region and under the auspices of the Keta-Akatsi Diocese.
The centre is mostly supported by the catholic churches in Europe and Asia. The centre is however open to all benevolent people in Ghana and beyond for support.
