Rev. Fr. Dr. Michael Yaw Darko, the Parish Priest of St. Benedict Parish at Sefwi Bekwai in Ghana’s Diocese of Wiawso has encouraged the pupils of the Parish School to put in their very best to become good future leaders.
Speaking at the Diamond Jubilee celebration of the Catholic Primary School on June 15, 2023, he thanked the staff of the school for their commitment to the growth of the school.
As the Local Manager, he pledged his unflinching support to the growth of the school.
Fr. Darko is also the Director of Communications of the Catholic Diocese of Wiawso
The Jubilee was under the theme: “Transforming our World, Maintaining our Heritage through Quality Education”.
The Headmaster of the school appealed to all stakeholders and the general public to come to the aid of the school to help solve some of the challenges confronting them.
Some of the performances by the pupils include, poetry recital, drama, adowa dance and cat walking.
The occasion was attended by many dignitaries including Hon. Paul Andoh, the Chief Executive of Bibiani Anhwiaso Bekwai Municipal Assembly. Also present were representatives of the Queen Mother of Bekwai Traditional Area, the Bibiani Anhwiaso Bekwai Municipal Education Director, Political and Religious leaders, parents and guardians.
