An Executive delegation of the Accra Archdiocesan Sacred Heart of Jesus Enthronement Centre (AASHJEC) has presented the 2024 National Sacred Heart of Jesus Congress and Golden Jubilee banner to the Archbishop of Accra, the Most Rev. John Bonaventure Kwofie, CSSp at the Archbishop’s Office, Holy Spirit Cathedral, Adabraka, Accra.
The delegation who made the presentation on Thursday, February 22, 2024 was led by Archdiocesan Spiritual Director and his Deputy, Rev. Fr. Silas Sapaty and Rev. Fr. Raphael Hessah; Sis. Mrs. Vida Domelevo, Archdiocesan President, Sis. Mrs. Elizabeth Tapang-Tettey, National President, Bro. Medard Hope Zodanu, National Secretary and Bro. Matthias A.A Morgan, National Treasurer.
The Congress banner and poster would be posted at the Holy Spirit Cathedral, Adabraka and Parishes in the Archdiocese of Accra to raise awareness of the upcoming 10th National Sacred Heart of Jesus Congress and Golden Jubilee of the Establishment of the National Sacred Heart of Jesus Enthronement Centre, Ghana
The Congress scheduled to be held at the Catholic Archdiocese of Tamale, Jubilee Park from Thursday, 5th to Sunday, 8th September, 2024 is on the theme: “National Sacred Heart of Jesus Enthronement Centre, Ghana @ 50: Building a Synodal Church, the Role of the Sacred Heart of Jesus Devotional Practices by the Catholic Family”.
The essence of the Congress and Golden Jubilee is to promote the devotion to the Sacred Heart of Jesus in our parishes, churches and homes and the need for personal spiritual growth with its attendant effectiveness in the family; and also, the promotion of the Social Teachings of the Church, etc.
