Centre for Social Justice to Host Dialogue on Economy

The Centre for Social Justice (CSJ), a non-governmental organization is poised to host another Leadership Dialogue Series (LDS) for the 11th time focusing on Ghana’s current economic crises.

The dialogue which comes off on Tuesday, September 6, 2022 at 430 – 730pm GMT will be adopting a blended format with limited in-person and mass virtual participation. The theme for the dialogue is “Transforming Ghana’s Economy – Scape Goats, Root Causes & Hard Choices”.

Thus, just 10-15 persons are going to be present at the Frederich Ebert Stiftung (FES) premises complemented with a live transmission of the event on CSJ’s Zoom and Facebook platforms. Woezor TV, Citi TV, Citi FM, Yen online media portal and the Institute of Financial and Economic Journalists will cover the event.

Dr. Priscilla Twumasi-Baffour is the moderator for the dialogue whiles Prof. John Gatsi of UCC, Hon. Isaac Adongo, ranking member of the finance committee of Ghana’s parliament, Mrs. Grace Osabutey from the ministry of finance will be speakers at the dialogue.

The Centre for Social Justice is a platform of academics, social change activists and Ghanaian patriots advocating for progressive social transformation and people-centred development in Ghana.

The Leadership Dialogue Series is a flagship civic education platform of the Centre to nurture mass political participation and patriotic values through intellectually stimulating discussions with prominent national leaders.
