Mrs. Florence Sama Chuku, Executive Director of SAP’s School has encouraged rewards for learners in both academic and extra-curricular achievements to boost their confidence in school.
Speaking at the grand durbar of the 50th anniversary celebration of SAP’s School, she recalled that the awards ceremony which recognised outstanding pupils, staff and parents served as an encouragement to sustain the school’s values of diligence and achievement.

She said, “A parent shared an interesting story. The child had refused to remove their medal even to bath… this child had smelt excellence and just would not let go”.
Mrs. Florence Sama Chuku added that rewarding learners with the spirit of excellence makes them stay committed to greatness in all that they do”.

She noted that the awards ceremony was a key highlight of the anniversary activities, celebrating excellence across the school community.
Mrs. Chuku described the story as both humorous and meaningful and encouraged all learners to embrace the same spirit of determination and high standards.

In a goodwill message to the school, Pastor Charles Sapara-Grant, Chairman of the Board of Directors of SAP’s School, commended the institution for sustaining its legacy of excellence as the school marked its 50th anniversary.
He noted that SAP’s School’s achievement is “a beacon of hope, shaping minds and hearts, and fostering leaders who make a difference.”

He noted, “To our pioneers, alumni, staff, and supporters, I express gratitude for your dedication and commitment”.
Pastor Charles Sapara-Grant also urged all stakeholders to continue supporting the school’s mission of nurturing disciplined, value-driven learners prepared for the future.

He stated, “As we look back, we also look forward, inspired to continue striving for excellence and making a lasting impact”.
The grand durbar for the 50th anniversary celebration drew parents, alumni, stakeholders and well-wishers who commended SAP’s School for its long-standing commitment to quality education and character development.
