He urged them to use their weekends for exercising to relax the body to prevent illnesses, adding that “regular exercising plays a major role in boosting your health”.

According to Mr. Fugar, who is a member of the OLA Parish Health Committee and Chairman of the Social Events and Functions Sub-Committee of  OLA 40th Anniversary Steering Committee, regular exercises could also protect the body from being attacked by diseases such as high blood pressure and obesity.

The health walk attended by over 200 parishioners from OLA, St. Daniel Comboni, Tantra Hills, Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, Chantan and St. Cecilia, Ofankor North, all Outstations of OLA, sought to encourage Catholics and non-Catholics alike on healthy lifestyle and share the love of Jesus Christ to many that did not know Him.

Among the participants were Very Rev. Fr. Francisco Kofi Machado, MCCJ and Rev. Fr. Bonaventure Gnaha, MCCJ, Parish Priest and Assistant respectively of OLA Parish.
