The Western Regional Police Command has celebrated the goodness of God in helping to promote a generally secured atmosphere for the people and businesses in the Region.
The Thanksgiving service, under the theme, “Great is thy faithfulness” was to remind the servicemen and women of God’s unfailing support to protect the course of the Region.
The colourful ceremony, saw the Regional Police Commander, DCOP Felix Fosu Agyeman treating guests and the command personnel to soul-soothing renditions.
Most Reverend John Baptist Attakru, the Catholic Bishop of Sekondi Takoradi Diocese noted that God’s faithfulness was available to all who believe in him we lack nothing in the Grace.
He entreated the servicemen and women to continue to trust in God and discharge their duties with the utmost confidence in the Lord.
“Your motto, service with integrity must encourage you to do well and serve your community with passion as you educate Ghanaians to be law-abiding”, he added.
DCOP Felix Fosu Agyeman, the Commander for the Region was grateful to stakeholders who helped to maintain security in the Region.
He prayed that the peace and tranquil atmosphere would continue particularly in the yuletide.
