Ghana’s National Chief Imam, Dr. Sheikh Osman Nuhu Sharubutu is celebrating his 101st birthday today, Thursday, April 23, 2020.
Born at Cow-lane in Accra on Apri 23, 1919, the revered Chief Imam is widely recognised across the country as an exceptional leader and an epitome of peace.
As part of activities to mark his 100th birthday last year, he briefly joined in the Holy Mass of the Christ the King Catholic Church in Accra on Sunday, April 21, 2019.
