Very Rev. Fr. Jude Osborn Eduafo Ampah was laid to rest following a solemn Requiem Mass held on December 12, 2024, at the St. Theresa’s Minor Seminary, Amisano, in the Cape Coast Archdiocese.
The ceremony, led by Metropolitan Archbishop of Cape Coast, the Most Rev. Charles Gabriel Palmer-Buckle, and the Most Rev. Peter Kweku Atuahene, Bishop of Goaso, was attended by the clergy, religious, and hundreds of Catholics and non-Catholics who came to pay their final respects.
Born on July 10, 1959, in Kumasi, Fr. Eduafo Ampah was ordained a Priest on July 20, 1986, after studying at St. Theresa’s Minor Seminary and St. Peter’s Regional Seminary. Over 38 years, he served in parishes across Ghana and abroad, including Dunkwa-on-Offin, Saltpond, Agona Swedru, and Amsterdam.
He was known for his humility, simplicity, and commitment to the Church. Fr. Eduafo Ampah was remembered by his classmate Fr. John as a man with a “gold heart” whose kindness, fearlessness, and dedication to his ministry touched countless lives.
