International Youth Day: Engage Youth in Nation Building Process – Poimen Ghana
POIMEN Ghana today, on the occasion of the International Youth Day is calling on Government to step up its efforts for effective youth engagement and participation in governance and nation-building.
According to a press released signed by POIMAN Ghana’s Director of Research, Caleb Otabil, the Government has not done enough to ensure the effective participation of the youth in Governance.
“State policies intended to incentivize the youth participation seem to be a few and there is a clear stumbling block to the progress of the youth in governance.”
Among the other things POIMEN Ghana wants the state ti to dispel the stereotypical concepts around the youth as one of the ways to encourage youth participation in the country’s nation-building process.
About International Youth Day
