The Staff and Pupils of St. Francis Junior High School at Jirapa in the Uppe West Region of Ghana have embarked on an educational tour to the Cosy Hills Hotel Safari at Jirapa.
The March 1 tour was to help pupils see the animals in reality that they had been writing essays on from books.
Some of the animals they saw were monkeys, lions, zebra, giraffe, hippopotamus, and ostriches.
They also had the opportunity to visit Wuling to see wuling mushroom rocks that were formed from the activity of wind which shaped them gradually into mushroom shapes. This helped the pupils to actualize their studies in geography.
The pupils were happy, excited and appreciated nature. They had a good experience that opened them up for great things in life.
They were tasked to take good care of plants, animals and all that God created for our use and were also encouraged to learn from what they have seen for good grades and jobs in the future.
