The Built Environment Professionals Guild under the umbrella of the Catholic Professionals Guilds (CPG) has been handed the Remodeling and Renovation of the St. Maurice Catholic Church at La in Accra.
A ground breaking ceremony was held on Sunday, July 16, 2023 to signify the start of the project which would be executed fully by the Guild.
At the ceremony, the Coordinator of the Built Environment Professionals Guild, Mr. Eric Guyiri, assured parishioners of the determination of CPG to ensure that the project was delivered to perfection.
He encouraged all in the Built Profession to get involved since the project was going to be carried out solely by Catholic Professionals.
The Parish Priest of St. Maurice Catholic Church, Rev. Fr. Joseph Mensah expressed confidence in the ability of CPG to carry out the project and also encouraged parishioners to not sit aloof but get involved.
Mr. Cyril Ashirifi, the Parish Secretary and a member of the Business Management and Finance Professionals Guild and Mr. Anthony Assuah, the PPC Chairman, who is also a member of the Lawyers Guild, encouraged parishioners to get involved and not stay away only to complain later that other people were rather executing the project.
Present at the ceremony were Architect Peter Amenyo who is the leader of the Project Management Committee, Mr. Daniel Baidoo Secretary of the Built Environment Professionals Guild and Mr. Edward Ayem, Coordinator of the Catholic Professionals Guilds.
