Council 74 and Court 67 of the Noble Order of Knights and Ladies of Marshall during the climax of its Silver Jubilee at the Holy Spirit Cathedral, has highlighted its remarkable contribution to the Order’s leadership at the highest levels.
In his keynote address, Grand Knight, Bro Grant Desbordes, noted that the 25-year-old Council and Court have produced one Supreme Knight, one Grand Lady, two Regional Grand Knights and one Regional Noble Lady.
The leaders are, Sir Kt. Bro. Constantine K.M. Kudzedzi as Supreme Knight, W/Bro Kingsford Arthur as Deputy Supreme Knight, and Respected Lady Sis. Feleicia Bramson as Deputy Grand Lady.
According to Bro Grant Desbordes, this achievement is an evidence of “divine favour and the dedication of our members”.
He noted, “Our support for the Church, our parish engagements, and our community outreach programmes reflect the beating heart of the Noble Order.”
Bro Grant Desbordes also acknowledged the sacrifices of founding Brothers and Sisters.
“We honour the foundation brothers and sisters, especially those who have departed this earthly life. Their sacrifices and strong Catholic spirit laid the foundation on which we continue to build”, he said.
He also noted the consecration of a new council and court, Council 109 and Court 103 at Pokuase, further extending the Noble Order’s influence within the Accra Archdiocese.
In addition, Bro Grant Desbordes recognised Archbishop John Bonaventure Kwofie, CSSp, for granting the Council a permanent meeting venue at the Blessed Sacrament Parish, Abelemkpe.
“We also express deep gratitude to Archbishop Kwofie, who graciously provided us with a permanent meeting space at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, Abelemkpe-a major turning point in our development and stability”, he said.
