Nazareth Nkotompo Society of the Methodist Church Fetes Over 400 Aged

Must read

The Nazerath Nkotompo Society of the Methodist Church of Ghana has treated over 400 aged to feast amid soul-soothing renditions.

The annual get-together for the aged and widows in the church’s catchment area was to demonstrate God’s love, particularly to the vulnerable.

Reverend Seth Williams, the Minister in Charge told the GNA that the Church was mandated by Christ to also meet the physical, social and economic needs of society and not only based on spirituality.

He said Jesus, showed love to over 5000 people in the Bible days as stated in Mark 6:30-44 adding, “We need to shed the light of God in all its fullness.

Rev. Wiliams said the annual gesture would be consolidated as instructed by Timothy to the Apostle Paul; “take care of my flock”.

He said it’s a good opportunity for all believers to open their arms and welcome such needy and demonstrate God’s kind of love to them as it was the reason for the season.

The over 400 aged and widows had good food, drinks, and other confectioneries to enjoy aside parcels given to each of them to mark the festive season.
