The new Executive Council of the Conference of Major Superiors of Religious Ghana (CMSR-Gh) has paid a courtesy call on the Apostolic Nuncio to Ghana, His Excellency Henryk M. Jagodzinski on Monday, December 12, 2022.
The call on the Nuncio was to thank him for always honouring the invitation to the Plenary Assemblies of the Conference, and to wish him the Season’s greetings and a New Year full of blessings.
The team took the opportunity to introduce the new Executive Council members who were elected during their meeting at Koforidua on October 13, 2022, and also to discuss some issues of concern to Religious in Ghana.
The Nuncio expressed gratitude to the team and for the visit, blessed and wished them well. According to him, he was looking forward to a fruitful collaboration between the Conference and the Nunciature.
He further assured that he was open to any help he could offer at any time, and would maintain a good working relationship with CMSR-Gh.
On his part, Fr. Ennin expressed appreciation to the Apostolic Nuncio for the warm reception and pledged their unflinching support to make his work in Ghana enriching.
Members of the Executive Council are Rev Fr. (Dr.) Paul Ennin Saa-Dade, SMA (President), Sr. Francisca Damoah, SIJ (Vice President), Sr. Christina Doggu, HHCJ (Treasurer), and Friar Vitus Edem Yao Mensah, OFM Conventual (Counsellor).
Present at the meeting also was the Executive Secretary of the Conference of Major Superiors, Sr. Theodora Adzayawo, SMMC.
