As Knights of St. John International, our duty extends beyond voting; we are called to promote peace, integrity, and the common good before, during, and after elections.
Elections are not just contests but opportunities to strengthen justice, unity, and the welfare of society.
Before the Elections
We must lead by example, encouraging voter education and rejecting divisive or hateful rhetoric. By preaching peace and fostering understanding, we empower others to vote wisely and uphold the dignity of the electoral process.
During the Elections
On Election Day, our presence must reflect calm and fairness. We must speak against corruption, reject intimidation, and ensure everyone votes freely. Casting a ballot with integrity is a prayer for a brighter future, and it is our sacred responsibility to uphold this ideal.
After the Elections
When results are announced, let us be ambassadors of peace, accepting outcomes with grace and holding leaders accountable. If disputes arise, we must champion peaceful and lawful resolutions, reminding all that violence destroys the progress we seek to build.
Elections are not about winners or losers but about healing, justice, and securing the future for all. As Knights, we must live out the Church’s teachings, standing as torchbearers of unity and hope. Together, we can ensure elections build a nation rooted in peace and justice. May God guide us in this mission.
