Priest in Ghana Urges Families to Lead Examplary Lives

Rev. Fr. Michael Yeboah Anelka, a priest of the Sunyani Diocese in Ghana has urged families to leave good legacies for their children to emulate.

Preaching the homily on the feast of the Holy Family of Nazareth on the 29th December, 2024 at St. Paul’s Catholic Church Mantukwa, Fr. Michael reflected with the congregants of who and what the individuals in the Holy Family were.

referencing from the gospel of Luke, he said, Mary was highlighted as the highly favoured, from Matthew’s gospel Joseph was recognized as righteous and from the gospel of John Jesus is highlighted as the word made flesh.

Speaking further the priest encouraged the congregation to train their children in the ways of the Lord with good moral upbringing such that like Jesus when they are looking for their children they will looking for them in descent places.

“Train your children to be obedient” he added and further posed a question to parents asking where will you look for your child if he or she should go out.
