She advised them to be prayerful and dedicated as they prepare towards their perpetual consecration.

In a homily at a Mass, Rev. Fr. Samuel Kornu, the DEPSOCOM Director of Ho Diocese and the Chaplain of Mater Ecclesiae School (MES), cautioned the Sisters to be at peace with everyone.

Reflecting on the Gospel of the day, Matthew 17:22-27, Fr. Kornu said Jesus Christ was not supposed to pay tax; but for the sake of peace, He instructed the disciples to catch a fish and take coin from its mouth to pay the tax. Through, obedience, the got the money to pay the tax.

In SMMC, the Temporary professed Sisters renew their Vows yearly until they are due for perpetual profession, which one can take within 6 to nine years.
