Must read

The Sisters of the Incarnate Word (SVI), a Religious Congregation in Ghana has organised a workshop for all the professed sisters on how to manage stress at their Novitiate house Mantukwa in the Diocese of Sunyani.

The workshop on May1, 2024 which marks workers day celebration, was facilitated by Sr. Juliana Asantewaa, SVI, Counselor and Headmistress of St. James’ Academy.

Addressing the participants, the facilitator said there were two types of stress, Eustress and Distress, noting that the situation in itself is not the stress but how the individual interprets or evaluates the situation that makes one either go through eustress or distress.

Sr. Asantewaa, therefore urged the participants to observe three rules in moments of stress; identify three things around them, listen to three sounds and move three parts of the body.
