As the Accra Archdiocesan Catholic Laity Council in collaboration with Catholic Institute of Business Technology (CIBT) gear up for a workshop on business communication on March 12 and 19, 2022 respectively, societal and group leaders in Parishes in the Archdiocese have been asked to support their Secretaries to participate in the training workshop.
The Bespoke workshop with a participation fee of GHc120 is scheduled to take place at CIBT, near the Ghana National Association of Teachers (GNAT) Hall, Adabraka. It is expected to focus on minutes and report writing skills, targeting Secretaries of Groups and Societies at the Parish, Deanery and Archdiocesan levels.
“All Presidents/Chairmen of groups, societies, confraternities are encouraged to sponsor their Secretaries. All persons desirous of adding value to themselves by acquiring the skills of minutes and report writing are also encouraged to attend,” Mr. Timothy Sowah, the Accra Archdiocesan Chairman appealed.
Making the appeal recently during the launch of the 2022 Accra Archdiocesan Programmes at the St. Kizito Parish at Nima, Mr. Sowah said as the workshop was opened to all secretaries of groups and societies and other interested parishioners, “You will do yourself a great deal of help to attend”.
To make the needed impact and to ensure maximum benefit of the programme for participants, the Archdiocese has been divided into two parts with interested parishioners in Kpehe, Madina, Mamprobi and Kaneshie deaneries encouraged to register and attend the first session on Saturday March 12.
On Saturday, March 19, 2022, Secretaries of groups and societies and interested parishioners in the Osu, Tema, Ashaiman and Ada- Battor Deaneries will take their for the second session.
At the end of the two sessions, certificate of participation will be awarded by the CIBT.
