Members of St. Anne Commandery #795 and Ladies Auxiliary #669 of St. John International have made a generous contribution towards the reconstruction of the SS. Anne and Joachim Parish halls and offices on the occasion of their 12th Anniversary celebration.
This presentation follows an appeal from the church in preparation to the church’s climax of its 75th Anniversary in 2026.
During the mass, L.t Micheal Osei Bagyina, Worthy President of St. Anne Commandery #795 in the presentation noted that it is important for the Order to contribute to the reconstruction project since they are part of the family of SS. Anne and Joachim.
He said, “ This year, celebrating our 12 years, we heard the cry of our church… charity begins at home…My brothers and sisters of St. Anne here realized that it is a good opportunity for us to come and support the church… We are here to present these items. I know it is going to help the church the hall for us so that next year when we are having our climax and the doors are officially opened by the Archbishop the place will be properly furnished for all of us”

L.t. Micheal Osei Bagyina while speaking also assured the Church of the Order’s continuous support to the growth and development of the church.
“On behalf of my brothers and sisters at St. Anne, we wish to present these items to you Rev. Fr. that you use it to furnish our halls…this is just the beginning and we pray that more should follow”, he added.
The items included a number of air conditioners and fans which will aid in furnishing the reconstructed parish halls and offices in SS. Anne and Joachim.
Very Rev. Fr. Raymond Osei Tutu, Parish Priest of Ss. Anne and Joachim, in his homily, acknowledged the contributions of members of the Church and St. John International.
He said, “For the developmental projects that has been happening in this church here, it has not gone more than one year, we are almost about just 10 months now but see what has happened. Because of your efforts, your support, encouragement and our understanding of the mission.”
He also encouraged them to be messengers and missionaries of God’s word in order to contribute to the mission of the Church.
