“We Pray for Successful Check-Up Confab” – A.M.E. Zion Church Members

Members of the African Methodist Episcopal (A.M.E) Zion Church, West Ghana have extended their prayerful support to the West Ghana 2020/2021 Check-up Conference ongoing at Varrick Cathedral, Cape Coast.

“We pray for a successful meeting,” some Church members noted on the official Facebook page of the A.M.E Zion Western West Africa.

Another Church who was elated the confab was going on successfully said “Praying up for successful check-up meeting. Wishing the participants a successful end.”

“Very colourful and impressive check-up session. Excellent Episcopal leadership. I wish the West Ghana Annual Conference fruitful and resilient deliberations,” said a member of the Church.


The African Methodist Episcopal Zion Church, or the AME Zion Church or AMEZ, is a historically African-American Christian denomination based in the United States. It was officially formed in 1821 in New York City, but operated for a number of years before then.

The Western West Africa Episcopal District of the A.M.E. Zion Church is an area covering Liberia, Cote d’Ivoire, Ghana and Togo.
