Work for Church’s Growth – New Ho Diocesan Leaders Urged

With the election of new youth leaders for Ghana’s Catholic Ho, the Diocesan Youth Chaplain urged them to endeavour to work committedly and dedicatedly for the for the growth of the youth and the Church as a whole.

After the election of the new leaders at the St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Dzemeni. Rev. Fr. Fidelis Kumado expressed appreciation to the new leaders of the Ho Diocesan Youth Council (HODYC) and prayed that their leadership would lift up the image of the youth and promote youth activities. “We thank God for the gift of new leaders for HODYC,” he added.

The Ghana National Catholic Youth Council (GHANCYC) General Secretary, Dennis Appiah-Sasraku and Fr. Kumado supervised the elections, held at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Dzemeni.

The newly elected executive are Fred Adzakpa, President; Esther Katsriku, Vice President; Kwame Orlando Daniel, Secretary; Happy Xatse ,Financial Secretary, Innocent Torbizo Organizer, and Orku Janet, Treasurer.

Mr. Appiah-Sasraku congratulated the new leaders and urged them to work in unison for the growth of the youth and Diocese at large.

On his part, Fred Adzakpa appealled to all youth in the Diocese to rally behind the new leaders for the continuous of the youth of the Church.
