It is also an opportunity to reflect on the challenges and opportunities of the modern world, and to witness to the Gospel values of peace, justice, and solidarity.
According to Fr. Ennin, the Jubilee Year 2025 under the theme “Pilgrims of Hope” is to express the spirit of the Jubilee Year, adding, “We are invited to be pilgrims, not tourists, in our journey of faith; to be bearers of hope, not despair, in the face of the difficulties and crises of our time. We are called to show God’s love and mercy, not just in words, but also in actions.”
During the Jubilee Year, there will be many special events and activities taking place in Rome and the Vatican City. There will be Masses, processions, and pilgrimages, as well as opportunities to visit the many shrines and holy sites in the city.
