Young people drawn from the stations within St. Fidelis Parish, Tease, in the Apostolic Vicariate of Donkorkrom gathered from Friday, April 5 to Sunday 7, 2024 for a rally during which they engaged in both spiritual and social activities.
The 3-day rally which was hosted by Tease gave the young people in the parish the opportunity  to interact with and learn from one another as one people of the Risen Lord, sharing a common purpose.
In his homily during the Mass to climax the event, Rev. Fr. Anthony Teye Binyemi, the Vicariate Youth Chaplain and Parish Priest of Tease, reminded the faithful about the peace the Risen Lord bestows on them by the life he won for them, and by his forgiveness of their weaknesses.
He charged them to relive the values of early Christians: “Appreciate the values of the early Christians who were united at the leadership of the Apostles of the Lord and guard against divisions that can distort the peace and development of your respective stations”.
Activities featured during the get-together included: Spiritual Direction/Counselling, Holy Masses, Talks, Sports, Quiz, Open Forum, Drama and Youth Harvest.
