Pilgrims of the Catholic Church who participated in the just ended 3-day Rosary Congress at the Our Lady of Fatima Grotto at the Christ the King Parish, Cantonments have been charged to revere and become evangelists of the Rosary.
According to Rev. Fr. Donatus Pallu, “Jesus proclaim the word. If you can’t proclaim the rosary, recommend the Rosary to someone. As you do that your life will be transfigured.”
Speaking on the topic “The Role of the Rosary in Personal and Family Life,” on Friday , October 17, Fr. Pallu said as Catholics pray the Rosary they would come to the realization that pain is part of life so they should not lose hope as they go through life.

“As you pray, the sorrowful mystery tells you that Jesus and Mary went through pain. Your pain will be aligned to that of Jesus and Mary since they have PhD in pain but the glorious mystery bring hope to you”.
The Rosary helps you reflect about the life of Jesus through the four mysteries that is being prayed,” he added.
He informed the Pilgrims that the Rosary becomes a useless weapon if not prayed thereby encouraging all and sundry to pray and meditate on the Rosary since it is a gift to the Church by God through Mary.

“Your Rosary must have a story. The Rosary is powerless if you don’t pray it. You can’t love Jesus without loving Mary,” he admonished.
The talk was part of activities outlined for the 3-day Rosary Congress in the Catholic Archdiocese of Accra.
The programme themed “The Holy Rosary, a Weapon for Pilgrims of Hope” was organized by the Catholic Archdiocese of Accra in collaboration with the Global Rosary Network.
The programme saw thousands of Catholic faithfuls partaking in various activities which includes the recitation of 1000 Hail Marys prayer within a six-hour period.
