The re-elected and inducted President of the Accra Archdiocesan Christian Mothers’ Association (CMA), Mother Eunice Kokui Dumashie, has shared her vision and plans with members by pledging to strengthen the spirituality of members.

In her inaugural speech at the St. Bakhita catholic Church at Community 20, Lashibi on Saturday, December 13, 2025, she indicated that deepening the spiritual growth of Mothers would be one of the top priorities, saying, “We will continue to strengthen the spiritual foundation of every Member.”

She envisaged that through retreats, pilgrimages, prayer gatherings, and Catholic teachings, the executives would help each member grow in faith, wisdom, and spiritual maturity, adding, “A spiritually grounded member builds a spiritually grounded family—and this is the heart of our mission.”

She promised to strengthen unity across the Association, noting thatUnity is our greatest strength and we will promote stronger collaboration among Parishes, and Deaneries, ensuring that every member feels seen, supported, and valued.”

“A united Association is a powerful instrument in the hands of God,” she stressed.

Mother Dumashie also pledged to attract more active and committed members to the Association, noting that “We will work to make our Association more visible, vibrant, and welcoming.

“Our goal is to bring the Christian Mothers’ Association into every corner of the Archdiocese-into every Parish, every Community, and every Home. We want every member to know that he or she has a place here, a purpose here, and a family here,” she pointed out.

According to her, “Through active engagement in Parish life, Community service, and Archdiocesan initiatives, we will make the Christian Mothers’ Association a strong and recognizable pillar of Faith and Service. Our presence must reflect the Strength, Dignity, and Compassion of Catholic Motherhood.”

Mother Dumashie, who is the newly elected National Secretary of the Association, assured that the Establishment of a permanent physical structure for the Association, which is “one of our most important long-term goals.”

She was optimistic about the formalization of the Association’s lands to begin the construction of a permanent physical structure for the Christian Mother’s Association in the Accra Archdiocese.

This, she noted, would serve as the Administrative Centre, the Formation Centre, and Spiritual Home, a lasting legacy for future generations of the Christian Mothers’ Association.
