The Accra East Grand Commandery of Knights of St. John International has officially inaugurated its Standing Committees for the 2025-2027 period, as part of its efforts to strengthen governance and deepen participation.
In an address delivered by Brigadier-General Samuel Baimbill-Johnson, Grand President of the Accra East Grand Commandery, he emphasized the importance of the committees in advancing the noble order’s vision.
He described the inauguration as “a deliberate step towards strengthening governance, deepening participation, and ensuring the work of the order is carried out with efficiency, accountability, and purpose.”
Brigadier-General Baimbill-Johnson urged committee members to approach their roles with dedication, noting that the success of the Grand Commandery will “depend in no small measure on the dedication, initiative, and integrity” each committee member brings.
He said, “I urge you to clearly understand your mandates, work within defined timelines, and maintain effective communication with the Grand Board of Trustees. Let your deliberations be guided by unity of purpose and a shared desire to advance the ideals of our noble Order”.
The newly inaugurated committees and their leadership are as follows:
