According to Dr. James Doh, President of BHOBU-NA, the Endowment Fund is designed to create a permanent and sustainable financial foundation for Bishop Herman College.

He noted, “The fund is designed to generate annual investment income while preserving the principal, ensuring that future generations of students and alumni continue to benefit from the Union’s mission.”

Dr. James Doh stated that the aim of the Endowment Fund is to support educational excellence through scholarships, infrastructure improvements, and academic programs at the school and strengthen alumni initiatives focused on mentorship, leadership development, and community service.

Additionally, Dr. James Doh said the Endowment Fund will “provide financial stability for BHOBU-NA’s strategic projects and charitable causes and preserve the legacy of Bishop Herman College by building a lasting source of support reflecting alumni generosity.”

He encouraged all Old Boys and friends of the School in North America to join the project and help support BHOBU to raise funds for the School.

He said, “With this in mind, I urge all alumni of Bishop Herman, POGA, friends, loved ones, businesses and donor organizations everywhere to contribute generously toward the endowment fund.”
