As part of activities marking the 70th Anniversary of Bishop Herman College (BIHECO), the Old Boys Union (BHOBU) is embarking on a medical and veterinary outreach in some Communities in Kpando of the Akpini State in the Volta Region.
The medical outreach will be held on BIHECO Campus on Saturday, October 29, 2022 during which there will be free medical screening, National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS) registration and where necessary, prescription of over-the-counter medication for common conditions.
The event is expected to start at 7:00am to be led by a team of medical professionals and paramedics, some from the Old Boys Union.
On the same day, there will be a veterinary outreach which will also take place at a durbar ground in the Kpando town.
The Veterinary outreach will comprise visits to farms in the township for vaccination and treatment of animals as well as a knowledge session for farmers at the durbar grounds from 10:00am.
The medical outreach is powered by the Vodafone Foundation and BHOBU.
