The Director-General of the Cyber Security Authority (CSA), Dr. Divine Selase Agbeti, has earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) from the University of Glasgow in the United Kingdom.
The Authority announced the achievement in an official congratulatory message on Monday, celebrating its leader for attaining the highest academic distinction.
In a commemorative portrait shared by the CSA, the Management and Staff of the CSA congratulated Dr Agbeti.
The feat has been described as both a personal academic milestone and a major boost for Ghana’s cybersecurity ecosystem.
Dr. Agbeti’s doctoral accomplishment comes at a time when Ghana is intensifying efforts to strengthen its cyber resilience, combat rising cybercrime and enforce its data protection regime.
The University of Glasgow, founded in 1451, is one of the world’s oldest and top-ranked research-intensive universities and a member of the prestigious Russell Group. His graduation from the institution underscores a commitment to academic rigour, continuous learning and professional excellence.
