It was a joyful day as many HHCJ’s were present and excited for this great achievement of a magnificent dwelling place for the beginners into the Congregation.

Present at the opening ceremony were the Catholic Bishop of the Diocese of Obuasi, Most Rev. John Yaw Afoakwah, Priests of the Diocese, Loreto Sisters, friends of HHCJ, parishioners and other well-wishers including Mr. Augustine Amponsah, the contractor

The chief of Kwabenakwa Asonkore was represented by Nana Obiri Asamoah.

He further intimated that the whole Diocese was excited and privileged to have the presence of the HHCJ Sisters amongst them, urging the Congregation to let this great achievement motivate them to do more and to win more souls for the Lord.

Since it is a dwelling place for those to be groomed into the congregation and was consecrated on the day of the Holy innocents, Bishop Afoakwah urged the Congregation not to be like Herod, to kill the dreams of these young ladies, but to nurture them to fit into the Congregation because they were the future of the Congregation and the church.

He expressed how happy he was, that the Pre-novitiate was brought back to the Diocese after a few years of their absence.

He asked lay faithful to see the Sisters as their family and that the Sisters should feel at home in their own house, built by their sweat and hard work.
