Vodafone Ghana Offers E-learning Opportunities to Students

The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Vodafone Ghana, Patricia Obo Nai, has indicated her organization’s preparedness to support students learn online.

The move according to the Chief Executive, is to ensure that students who are at home observing social distancing guidelines and self-isolation measures during the worldly COVID-19 pandemic season catch up with their studies.

“Vodafone Ghana is offering customers free access to various educational websites and e-learning platforms to ensure academic continuity is unhindered”, she stated

The CEO, further disclosed, her outfit and organization [vodafone Ghana] will be working with various educational institutions across the country for customers to access the e-learning platforms free of charge.

“Vodafone has issued an open invitation to schools who are yet to benefit from this rare opportunity to simply send an email to vodafonebusiness.gh@vodafone.com before Wednesday 25 March 2020 to begin the process”, she added.

‘’ Patricia Obo Nai, also believed technology has assumed even greater importance for connecting people and delivering vital services such as education, during emergency periods.

“Vodafone Business is also helping organisations and small businesses minimise the impact of the pandemic. by empowering them with tools that enable them to work remotely from their homes,” she noted.

These according to her, include conferencing facility, free close user group calls, matchless voice minutes, unique data bundles and bulk SMS
