A delegation from the Ghana Catholic Bishops’ Conference will, on Tuesday, August 12, 2025, visit the families and widows of those who tragically lost their lives in the recent helicopter crash.
In an August 11 statement, Very Rev. Fr. Clement Adjei, Secretary General of the Ghana Catholic Bishops’ Conference “The visit is a gesture of solidarity, compassion, and prayerful support from the Catholic Church during this time of national mourning.”
According to the statement, “The bishops seek to comfort the bereaved families and offer spiritual support as they navigate this painful period.”
On Wednesday, August 6, eight gallant Ghanaians, five government officials and three military men were involved in a helicopter crash in the Ashanti Region which devasted the nation. They were on a national assignment.
