As part of its activities for the year, the Korle Bu Chapter of the Full Gospel Business Men’s Fellowship International, (FGBMFI), Accra, Ghana, a Christian non-denominational movement, has held a Breakfast Meeting with testimony and the sharing of the Word of God.
Delivering a testimony on his personal experience of life before, in and out of prison at the Meeting on Saturday, March 14, 2020, Mr. Courage Ayee who spent more than 15 years in prison confessed the power and the presence of God.
He noted that but for all he went through, he would not have known God.
”If you allow yourself not to be possed by the Spirit of God, the demon will possess you because that place is meant for somebody to rule. I started by learning how to drink akpetshie (local gin). I entered prison when I was 24 years with 11 children. Most of my children, I did not know them. I was the type who will get you pregnant and run away. My mother will go for the children,” he opined.
He added that ”At the age of 17, I was running errands for prostitutes and I went to my mother that I want to marry. My mum won’t agree but there were some weak people in the family so I gave them money and they lead me to marry, he narrated.
He continued: “When I was giving birth in my legally married home, I was doing outside ones as well. I will not listen to anybody. That is why I always say it was good I entered prison because I would not have known God. When I smoke, I look up to heaven and say, God, if you see me coming from right, take left.”
He called on the audiences of the meeting not to follow the things of the world but give themselves to be used by God.
The Fellowship has one of its aims to have the word of God spread to all people in all nations and across all sectors of the economy.
This over the years led to the formation of what could be described as one of the world’s most vibrant lay group of people in business for themselves and for the Kingdom of God.
As a non-denominational group, it employs personal life testimonies of what God has done in the lives of members to challenge and inspire people to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.
The Fellowship, established in 1952 prides itself on highly trained professionals and business people across all professions and nations.
The name Full Gospel (FG) stands for miracle, healings, deliverance where men and women speak about God and demonstrate His power in their lives.
At Full Gospel Meetings, the members build their faith on a firm foundation of love to get together and witness the compassion and reality of Jesus Christ.
