Marshallan Association Inaugurated at Nii Boiman St. Joseph the Worker Church

Members of the Knights and Ladies of Marshal worshipping at the St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church at Nii Boiman in the Archdiocese of Accra have come together to form an Association.

The Association was inaugurated during Holy Mass on Sunday February 6, 2022.

A seven-member executives were also sworn into office for a two-year term. It has Nana Nyarko Owusu as Chairman; Adelaide Dosugah, Vice Chairman; Ebenezer Potakey, Secretary; Joseph Kpogo, Financial Secretary; Agnes Fogah, Treasurer; with Rita Osei Duodu and Daniel Seyram Kuade as Welfare Officers.

Inaugurating the Association, Rev. Fr. Mathias Gyato, Priest-in-Charge of the St. Joseph the Worker Church, exhorted them to work hard to get a Council and Court status in the near future.

Speaking after the swearing in, Nana Nyarko Owusu, explained that for a parishioner to join the Association, he or she must first belong to Council or Court within the Archdiocese of Accra.

He asked for support form members to enable the new executives efficiently discharge their duties, reminding them that their call as Marshallans is one of selfless service to mankind.

On behalf of the Association, Nana Nyarko Owusu presented an undisclosed amount to the Priest-in-charge to support the church projects.
