Must read

Very Rev. Fr.  Paul Saa-Dade Ennin, SMA, the newly elected President of the Conference of Major Superiors of Religious, Ghana (CMSR-G) recently paid a visit to the second batch of 21 Sisters who attended a five-day Media Training at the Center for Spiritual Renewal, Christian Village, Santase, Kumasi.

During his visit on January 17, 2023, he enjoined the Sisters to take the opportunity to be trained in media issues so that they could creatively report and share their respective congregations’ various apostolates.

Fr. Ennin who is also the Provincial Superior of the Society of African Missions (SMA)  in Ghana, affirmed “We do a lot of things that go unnoticed. We have taken that humility that we work without making big noise of it, without seeking for accolades. But today, the challenge is, when you’re not in media, then you don’t exist. It is very important therefore that you make your works known now and then.”

“We are counting on you. When I came, I saw that you’re very interested in what you’re doing and that’s a very good sign. Having shown your great interest in your activities today, I’m deeply grateful for your encouraging response. Thank you for coming,” he said.

He enjoined the Sisters to persevere, saying, “There are many other things to learn; this is only the beginning.”

He invited the Sisters to the 140th Anniversary of SMA’s presence in Ghana  held on Wednesday, January 18, 2023 at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technolgy (KNUST), Kumasi.
