The 10th Edition of the Bishop Herman Old Boys Union (BHOBU) Games brought together different generations of Old Boys of Bishop Herman College for a day of football, sports and entertainment at the Legon Stadium on Saturday, September 19, 2026.
The main football competition saw the various year groups compete for honours, with the teams divided into the younger and older generations.
BHOBU 2018 emerged as winners of the younger generation football competition, while BHOBU 2003 won the older generation category.
The football competition provided an opportunity for the various year groups to meet on the field and renew their rivalry in a friendly atmosphere.
Beyond the football competition, the Games also featured a number of activities which allowed participants from the different generations to interact and enjoy themselves.
These included a 100-metre race, sack race, colour puzzle, card games, PS5 gaming and an eating competition.
The Past OLA Girls Association (POGA), made up of past students of OLA Senior High School, also participated in some of the activities, including the sack race, colour puzzle and a penalty shootout.
The participation of both younger and older Old Boys highlighted the role of the BHOBU Games in bringing together former students across different year groups.
The 10th Edition also provided an opportunity for the various generations to compete, reconnect and celebrate their shared identity as Old Boys of Bishop Herman College.
