Argentina in South America has been officially announced as the host nation for the 2029 World Assemblies of God Congress.
The historic announcement was made by the Global Chairman of the World Assemblies of God Fellowship, Rev. Dominic Yeo, during the Day 3 Evening Session of the just-ended 10th World Assemblies of God Congress in Accra.
The curtains have fallen on the historic 10th World Assemblies of God Congress in Accra, Ghana — the first time in over 115 years that the global gathering has been held on African soil.
For three unforgettable days, from October 14-16, over 10,000 delegates from more than 100 nations converged at the Grand Arena of the Accra International Conference Center and the Accra Sports Stadium for a powerful celebration of faith, unity, and global mission under the theme: COMMISSIONED: One Mandate, Every Nation.

The Congress was marked by powerful worship, Holy Spirit encounters, global prayers for revival, and strategic focus on the MM33 Vision — to plant one million Assemblies of God churches by 2033.
General Superintendent of Assemblies of God Ghana, Rev. Stephen Wengam, described the hosting as a milestone for Africa, noting that Africa now contributes over 20 million of the over 89 million Assemblies of God members worldwide. The event also saw a courtesy call on President John Dramani Mahama, who commended the church for its role in national development.
The highlight of the final evening — the official handover.
With flags of all nations raised high and delegates in jubilant worship, Rev. Yeo officially unveiled Argentina as the next host, declaring the symbolic journey: FROM GHANA TO ARGENTINA!

“From Africa to South America, the global mission continues. One Fellowship. One Mandate. Every Nation!”
Great Memories from Accra 2026:
– Nations lifting their flags in unity worship
– Powerful healing and renewal encounters
– Strategic leadership sessions on evangelism and social transformation
– Unforgettable Ghanaian hospitality and cultural celebration
The baton has now been passed. As Ghana bids farewell with a successful hosting, all eyes turn to Argentina 2029 for another chapter of global revival.
