Old Boys of Bishop Herman College and the Gems of OLA Girls, Ho are set to lace up for the BHOBU-POGA GLOBAL Health Walk on Saturday, 4th July 2026, a major fitness and unity event ahead of the BHOBU Games on Saturday, 19th September 2026 at the University of Ghana.
The nationwide, simultaneous walk will take place across 6 BHOBU zones under the theme: “Walk Together. Live Better. Inspire Change.”
The Health Walk is designed to rally BHOBUs at home and abroad around four
key pillars: Improve Your Health, Build Community, Make a Global Impact, and One Step at a Time.
According to Mr. Sylvester Mintah, Chairman of the BHOBU Games Planning Committee, the activity will also serve as a mobilization drive for the BHOBU Games 2026, using fitness, fellowship, and visibility to re-energize the Union ahead of the September showdown.
“This is more than a walk. It’s BHOBUs showing up together, getting healthy, and building momentum for 19th September 2026,” and a classical warm up towards the BIHECO 75th Anniversary Celebrations, he noted.
